Lean Management is an organisational and management model aimed at continuously improving the added-value of the products and services the organisation delivers to its clients. In Lean Management, the added-value of the products and services is defined from the clients' perspective, who is the ultimate customer of the organisation.
With Lean, the processes in the organisation are (re-)designed to only perform those activities that add to the value of the products and services. All non-value adding activities, in Lean terminology often called 'waste', are systematically eliminated. Through the application of Lean methods and techniques, organisations have been successfull in delivering true customer quality at shorter delivery times and at lower cost.
The roots of Lean Management are in the car industry. However, these days Lean methods and techniques are also successfully applied in other industries and sectors, such as financial services companies, employment agencies and call centres, as well as governmental organisations and the health care sector.
Accent Consultancy helps organisations designing, implemen- ting and executing Lean Management improvement programmes. We have gained extensive experience in various sectors, such as the industrial sector, the (financial) services sector and the health care sector. We also provide trainings and workshops on Lean Management.
